Born on 17 April 1962, Enrico Carraro joined the family business at the age of 22. He began his professional career in different company contexts and areas. He gradually followed a career that led him to take on roles of increasing responsibility.
In 2007, he assumed the office of Executive Vice Chairman of Carraro with responsibility for New Business Development initiatives. He coordinated the research, evaluation and definition of new businesses and the related development programmes in the medium and long term. Since April 2012, Enrico Carraro has been Chairman of the Carraro Group.
In February 2011, he became a member of the Confindustria Padua Committee and in July 2012 he became a member of the Confindustria Reform Commission. From April 2013 to February 2017 he was Vice Chairman of Confindustria Veneto with responsibility for internationalisation

Through the Drivelines unit, the Company is active in the production of axles, transmissions and drives for construction equipment and agricultural applications. Through the Gear & Components unit, it offers gears and components for axles and transmissions. Through the Vehicles unit, it is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of agricultural tractors. Through the Electronics unit, the Company provides electronic and power systems, such as motor drives, inverters for solar and wind energy, and hybrid traction systems. The Company operates in Italy and abroad, including Switzerland, France, Germany, India, China and Poland, among others. In May 2014, Carraro SpA launched the new plant Carraro Brasil. It operates through affiliate, such as O&K Antriebstechnik GmbH.
