Courtenay Folk

Courtenay Folk currently serves as the Director of the Center for Community Engagement at Carson-Newman University since October 2023. Prior to this role, Courtenay was the Executive Director of The Spanish Language Institute from September 2020 to October 2023. Courtenay has extensive experience in missionary work, serving with Global Outreach International from 2007 to October 2023, focusing on sharing the gospel in Costa Rica. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Converse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from North Greenville University, along with training from the International Association of Biblical Counselors.
