Chet Mancini

Chet Mancini is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the API Platform and developer ecosystem at Carta since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mancini held multiple positions at Simon Data, including engineering manager for orchestration and APIs, as well as realtime and streaming data, where significant contributions were made to launching innovative marketing products. Mancini also served as the staff software engineer focusing on security and enterprise products, and as a lead security engineer ensuring compliance with GDPR and SOC2 standards. Additionally, Mancini has experience advising graduate students at Cornell University College of Engineering and previously worked in various roles at Intent Media Inc., First Trust, and other organizations, showcasing a robust background in software engineering and data management. Mancini holds an M.Eng in Computer Science from Cornell University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Wheaton College.
