Tom Hörbye

Tom Hörbye is an experienced professional in fund administration and investment strategies, currently serving as the Head of Fund Administration and SPV Sales at Carta since June 2025. Prior to this role, Tom was the Director of Funds & Investments at Republic Europe from December 2022 to June 2025, where efforts included supporting GPs across Europe in capital raising and investment strategies. Tom also held the Investment Director position focusing on North America during a secondment at Republic Europe. Earlier experience includes serving as the Commercial Director for European Fundraises and in various business development roles at R Europe (formerly Seedrs) from March 2016 to December 2022. Additionally, Tom co-founded and served as CEO of Bedaboo, a marketplace for last-minute peer-to-peer home rentals. Tom holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol and A Levels from Radley College.
