James Cook has a diverse work experience. James started working at Carv as a Full Stack Engineer in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Gresham Tech as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to October 2022. In this role, they developed a static data management system using Java Spring Boot and React. James also worked as a Graduate Software Engineer at Gresham Tech from September 2019 to September 2020. Before joining Gresham Tech, they worked as a Django Developer on a contract project for Rightcharge in June 2019. James had a summer internship at Octopus Energy in 2018, where they worked on web development with Django and data analysis using Jupyter Notebook. Additionally, they worked as a Ski Instructor at Nozawa Onsen Ski School from November 2015 to April 2016.
James Cook attended Alcester Grammar School, where they obtained their A-Level degree. Following that, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Level 1 Ski Instructing from NZSIA.
