Richard Thomas has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Richard began their career as an intern at Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH, where they worked on projects related to production technology and research in novel materials and manufacturing techniques. Following this, Richard worked as a research assistant intern at the Berlin Institute of Technology, focusing on a research project in the automotive industry. Richard was responsible for project management, primary research tasks, and administrative support. Richard then joined DCA Design International as a junior mechanical engineer and later served as a mid-range mechanical engineer. In these roles, they gained valuable experience in mechanical engineering. Most recently, Richard worked at Carv by MotionMetrics as a mechanical engineer and hardware lead, where they showcased their expertise in leading hardware projects.
Richard Thomas attended Freman College from 2004 to 2009, but did not receive a degree or study a specific field. Richard then went on to study at the University of Bath from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a MEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering with German.
