Kevin Shanahan

Kevin Shanahan is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance at BacklotCars since October 2021. Previously, Kevin held the position of Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Carwave, where responsibilities included establishing a finance department for a startup in the automotive online auction industry. Kevin's extensive career also includes roles as a Consultant at Vividion Therapeutics, Corporate Controller at Sharecare Health Data Services, and Controller at both Applied Proteomics and Veterinary Specialty Hospital, where significant financial systems were implemented and team structures optimized. In earlier career stages, Kevin managed inventory control and planning at Taylor Guitars and interned at Ernst & Young. Kevin holds a BA in Business, English, and Music from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
