Christian Skotte

Christian Skotte has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Christian began their career as a part-time teacher at Copenhagen County Higher Preparation School, where they taught chemistry to high school students. During this time, they successfully encouraged and convinced many students to pursue a college degree in science.

Simultaneously, they worked as a research librarian at Roskilde University Library, where they managed the library's holdings in chemistry, environment, physics, and mathematics. Christian also specialized in online searching in databases and utilized tools like CAS Online.

After their tenure at the library, Skotte joined Leo Pharma as a Patent Information Specialist. At Leo Pharma, they were responsible for chemistry patent and literature documentation and analysis. Christian was also the key contact for SciFinder and conducted thorough searches on major professional online hosts such as STN, Dialog, and Orbit.

Skotte eventually transitioned to CAS, where they held multiple roles. Initially, they served as a Senior Account Manager, managing accounts in Scandinavian countries and Belgium. In this position, they sold, negotiated, and renewed commercial and academic agreements for CAS solutions. Later, they assumed the role of a Customer Success Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and success in utilizing CAS solutions like STN, SciFinder, PatentPak, and MethodsNow.

Throughout their career, Skotte has demonstrated expertise in chemistry, online searching, and customer management.

Christian Skotte completed their high school education at Birkerød Statsskole from 1976 to 1979, focusing on the field of science. Christian then enrolled at Roskilde University from 1980 to 1986, where they obtained a Masters degree in Chemistry and Communications.
