Jason Melnick

Jason Melnick has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jason recently worked as a Senior Engineer / DevOps at CAS since 2017. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead at TEKsystems from 2016 to 2021, where they played a key role in architecting and implementing an ATG Web Commerce integration layer for a site redesign project and managed a team of junior developers. Jason also worked as a Java Developer at QStart Labs, LLC from 2014 to 2015, where they developed business-driven web applications for portfolio companies. Jason gained experience as a Java Architect and Senior Engineer at OEConnection from 2011 to 2014, focusing on designing and implementing a SOA platform for international business initiatives. Before that, they worked as a Java Architect at The Sophic Group from 2007 to 2010. Jason also held consultant roles at Nationwide Insurance and Cardinal Solutions Group, where they contributed to various projects, including enterprise build management and system design. Jason started their career as a Lead Technical Consultant at Idea Integration, working on the design and implementation of a person-to-person payment system. Overall, Jason has a diverse skill set encompassing DevOps, architecture, development, mentoring, and database administration.

Jason Melnick completed their education at East Liverpool High School from 1987 to 1991, earning a diploma. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2021.
