Paul Dubuc has over 40 years of work experience in software engineering. Paul began their career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1979, where they worked on applications software design and development for telecommunications networks and voice response systems. Paul was a primary developer on a complete re-architecture and implementation of a software application platform. In 1996, they joined Lucent Technologies where they continued their work on application development for voice messaging and voice response systems. Paul then joined Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) in 2001 as a software engineer, specializing in systems application software development using C++ on Sun Solaris and Linux. Paul is proficient in GCC C++, STL, Boost, Perl, and Python.
Paul Dubuc has a diverse education history. Paul obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Ohio Institute of Technology between 1975 and 1978. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Practical Theology with a focus on Spiritual Formation from Ashland Theological Seminary from 2004 to 2008. In 2011, they received a Certification in Spiritual Direction from Sustainable Faith. Additionally, Paul attended the Wellstreams Program in 2008 and 2009 to further their studies in Spiritual Direction.
