Xin Gao

Xin Gao has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as a Science Information Selector at CAS, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology from August 2020 to December 2021. Xin Gao also has extensive research experience, having worked as a Research Assistant at Ohio University from September 2009 to December 2021, where they conducted experiments, data analysis, and model development related to CO2 corrosion mechanisms of steel. They also worked as an Engineer at Laiwu Steel Inc. in China from June 2007 to July 2009 and as a Research Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from September 2004 to June 2007.

Xin Gao undertook their education in a chronological manner. They began their academic journey in 2000 at the China University of Mining and Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering. After completing this program, Xin Gao joined Ohio University in 2009 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemical Engineering. They successfully completed their doctoral studies at Ohio University in 2020. Throughout their educational history, Xin Gao focused on fields such as Materials Science and Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
