Youngsoon Kim

Youngsoon Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. They worked at CAS as an Information Scientist, where they curated scientific journals and patents into CAS products. At Purdue University, they served as a Post-doctoral Research associate, developing targeted ligands for cancer and infectious diseases, as well as designing chip-based systems for pathogen detection. Prior to this, they worked at LG Life Sciences as a Senior Research Scientist, focusing on process development for antibiotics, synthesis of drugs, and scaling up synthesis for field tests.

Youngsoon Kim completed a PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Organoc Chemistry from Sogang University from 1991 to 1993. In addition, they received a Certification in Practice of Data Analytics from The Ohio State University in December 2019.
