Andrew Butcher

Andrew Butcher has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Andrew worked as a Senior Stress Engineer at Cascade Engineering starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director, Owner, Structural and Project Engineering at Delta Europe Ltd - Aerospace Consultancy since 1988. Andrew also worked as a Competence Expert in Aerostructures at CT ingenierie from July 2022 to May 2023. Andrew served as the Technical Lead Engineer for the A350-F freighter at Expleo Group UK Jobs from March 2022 to June 2022. Andrew was the Chief Engineer for LightLand at TISICS from July 2021 to March 2022. In 2020, Andrew worked as the Program Manager for Eviation Aircraft Ltd, where they managed the production of the Eviation Alice V2 fuselage. Andrew also worked at Leonardo as a Rotors Analyst from January 2020 to March 2021, and at Rolls-Royce as part of the E-FanX Structural System Design and Analysis team from August 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, Andrew worked at Spirit AeroSystems as a Stress Approver Checker for the A350XWB Leading Edge from November 2018 to May 2019. Their previous role at Pratt & Whitney involved being a Project Engineer for the Dassault F8X and F7X aircraft models, managing the structural substantiation dossier and providing technical support. Andrew held this position from May 2011 to May 2018.

Andrew Butcher attended Hatfield Polytechnic from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained an HND in Aeronautical Engineering. During the same period, they also attended the University of Hertfordshire and received another HND, this time in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering. In March 2011, they obtained a certification in Dassault F7X MRB Engineering from Dassault Aviation.
