Alexandra Weintraub is a Canadian mezzo-soprano, psychotherapist, and multi-disciplinary performer with a commitment to social change through art, community, therapy, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Re-entry Therapist at the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services since November 2023, Alexandra previously held roles such as an ACT Team Social Work Intern at Institute for Community Living, Inc., and a social work intern at GMHC. With extensive experience in the performing arts, Alexandra has performed as a singer, actor, and dancer since 2006, displaying versatility across opera, musical theatre, and burlesque. Educationally, Alexandra holds a Master of Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from Queen's University, supplemented by a Certificate in Law.

The mission of CASES is to increase the understanding and use of community sanctions that are fair, affordable, and consistent with public safety. CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Their programs are aimed at high-need populations, including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed.
