Randy Smith is an experienced Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programmer with a comprehensive background in the machining industry. Currently serving as a CNC Programmer at Cassavant Machining, Inc. since October 2019, Randy also works as an independent contractor specializing in CNC programming and fixture design. Previous roles include ownership of Tech Five Machining LLC, where Randy operated a small 5-axis CNC job shop, and a CNC Applications Engineer at Magnum Precision Machines, responsible for training and support across various equipment. Randy’s extensive experience encompasses programming, setup, and production of complex aerospace and automotive parts, alongside contributions to quality management systems. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies from Trinidad State College.
