James Buckley is an experienced investment manager currently leading the Castlefield European Sustainable Equity fund at Castlefield since September 2023. Buckley has held various significant roles in the finance sector, including Trustee Investment Advisor for Noel Buxton Trust and Head of Equity Research at Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland from August 2021 to August 2023. Previously, Buckley served as Head of European Equities at Barings, where oversight included the Baring European Growth and Europa funds, and as European Equity Fund Manager at Premier Asset Management. Early career roles included managing the Solus European Growth fund at Brown Shipley. Buckley holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.
