Director Of Property & Community at Catalyst

Mervyn Watley serves as the Director of Property & Community at Catalyst since February 2007, overseeing a 25-acre estate at Titanic Quarter in Belfast and a 3-acre site at Fort George in Londonderry, managing the physical environment for approximately 125 companies, including major blue-chip corporations. Prior to this role, Mervyn was the Head of Estates Planning & Development at the University of Ulster from October 2001 to February 2007, where responsibilities included lease management and capital development across four campuses. Earlier experience includes positions as Property Manager for National Australia Bank, Buildings Officer at Danske Bank, and Quantity Surveyor at Brian Canavan Associates, spanning various aspects of property and facilities management. Mervyn holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Ulster University, completed between 1990 and 1996.
