Rob Buchanan is an experienced health and safety professional currently serving as HSET Manager at Catalyst Metals since November 2023. Previously, Rob held the HSSET role at Calidus Resources Limited from April 2023 to January 2024 and owned Safe Mine Australia, where workplace health and safety management systems were implemented and maintained from February 2022 to January 2024. Rob's extensive background includes serving as Unit Manager for Sustainable Development at Gold Fields Ltd. from March 2016 to April 2023, overseeing various safety and environmental functions at the Granny Smith Mine. Prior experience includes Group OHS Coordinator at Northern Star Resources, transitioning from Barrick Gold Kanowna, and holding multiple safety management positions at Barrick Kanowna from 2007 to March 2014. Earlier in Rob's career, positions included OHS Superintendent with Monadelphous Group and Safety Coordinator. Rob holds a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Edith Cowan University.

Catalyst Metals’ flagship asset is the 40km long Plutonic Gold Belt in Central Western Australia. This belt hosts the Plutonic Gold Mine which currently produces ~85koz pa at an AISC of ~A$2,300/oz. Over the next 12 to 18 months, Catalyst plans to develop three new projects on the belt. The Company also controls +75km of strike length immediately north of the historic +22Moz Bendigo goldfield.
