Andy Johnson has extensive experience in the sports industry, specializing in fitness and performance coaching. Andy most recently served as a Business Development Manager at Catapult starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were a First Team Fitness Coach at Shrewsbury Town Football Club from June 2019 to February 2022. Andy also held positions at Stoke City Football Club, Birmingham City FC, Norwich City Football Club, Blackburn Rovers Football Club, Sedbergh School UK, and Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club. Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated their expertise in strength and conditioning coaching as well as sports science.
Andy Johnson received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Cumbria, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sports Science with a specialization in the Nutrition pathway from the University of Chester.
