Venkatesh Popuri is an experienced professional in the field of data engineering and software development, currently serving as a Hadoop Senior Consultant at Caterpillar Inc. since February 2017, where responsibilities include developing an ingestion solution for data transfer from mailbox servers to the Hadoop platform. Previously, Venkatesh worked at Philips from November 2014 to January 2017 as a Technical Specialist and Technical/Analytics Lead, focusing on developing ingestion APIs for incremental data processing. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Envestnet | Yodlee India, contributing to projects involving the storage and analysis of large datasets and the development of an account aggregation system. Venkatesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University and completed pre-university education at Nalanda Jr College.
