Therese Gales

Therese Gales is a seasoned professional in media relations and humanitarian advocacy, currently serving as the Media Relations Manager at Catholic Charities Twin Cities since August 2014, where expertise is applied in optimizing press coverage and developing media strategies. Prior experience includes a role as Information Officer at Alight, promoting visibility for humanitarian efforts, and Director of Education for the Refugee and Immigrant Program at The Advocates for Human Rights, where a public engagement campaign focused on refugee issues was directed. Gales has also contributed to organizations in Europe, such as serving as a Human Rights Fellow in Germany and Austria, and has coordinated refugee support activities in Croatia. An educational background from the University of Notre Dame, combined with ongoing studies in public policy at the University of Minnesota and the University of Oxford, complements Gales' extensive experience in anthropology and history.
