Asaf is an experienced R&D manager with solid track record of building and leading multi-disciplinary groups consisting of software, hardware and algorithm engineers in various domains, such as mobile, display & automotives. Asaf joins CathWorks following a 12-years long senior appointment in Samsung’s Israeli R&D Center, where he led the cutting-edge computer vision and image processing platforms – subsequently deployed in Samsung’s flagship products. Prior to Samsung, Mr. Jazcilevich served as a firmware team leader for TransChip and has also worked at Intel. Asaf holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.
