Adriaan Defraeije

Adriaan Defraeije is an experienced educator with a diverse background in design and technology education. Currently serving as a Design Teacher at Caulfield Grammar School since January 2023, Adriaan also contributes as a BQC Reviewer and IB MYP Workshop Leader for the International Baccalaureate since October 2020, facilitating various workshops. As the Head of Design at the International School of Lund since August 2017 and holding several consulting roles, including Senior Moderator for MYP Design and Educational Consultant positions with IBSCA, InThinking, and Taaleem, Adriaan demonstrates a strong commitment to educational leadership. Previous roles include Head of Middle School Physical Education at Tokyo International School and Head of Information Technology at Nord Anglia International School Shanghai Pudong. Adriaan holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Computer Science and Physical Education from Arteveldehogeschool.
