Melinda Honig

Melinda Honig is an accomplished legal and risk management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a School Council Board Member at Caulfield Grammar School since July 2018, Melinda also holds the positions of General Counsel, Company Secretary, and Chief Risk Officer at Australian Unity Limited since February 2016. Australian Unity is a prominent national organization in healthcare, financial services, and retirement living, catering to approximately 850,000 customers. Prior to these roles, Melinda was General Counsel at GE Capital ANZ from July 2001 to December 2015 and served as a Tax Manager at KPMG Australia from February 1995 to April 2000. Melinda’s educational background includes degrees in Economics and Accounting as well as Law from Monash University, along with a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
