Jorge Enrique Tovar Puertas

Jorge Enrique Tovar Puertas is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly in designing and implementing serverless architectures using AWS services. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Software Architect at Caylent since January 2023, Jorge leads the development of cost-efficient applications and implements automated CI/CD pipelines. Prior roles include Software Architect positions at FPT Latin America, Lulo Bank, ADL Digital Lab, and Banco de Bogotá, where Jorge focused on mentoring, DevOps practices, and improving software structures. Early career experience includes roles as an Information Security Analyst at Seguros Bolívar S.A. and a Software Developer at Banco de Bogotá. Jorge holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Architectures from Universidad de Los Andes and a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
