Maya Kane has extensive experience in the communications and marketing field. Maya is currently serving as the Executive Director of Communications, Marketing, Brand & Research at CBC/Radio-Canada since April 2021. Prior to this, Maya held the role of Director of Marketing, News/Audio/Docs at CBC from November 2018. Maya also worked as the Senior Manager of Marketing for News/Audio/Doc content from September 2013 to November 2018 at the same company. Maya has also worked at the University of Toronto as the Executive Director of Communications Strategy & Stakeholder Relations from March 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they served as the Communications and Partnership Manager at CBC/Radio-Canada from December 2008 to September 2013.
Maya Kane has a Bachelor of Arts - BA Honours degree in Mass Communications from Carleton University. Maya also holds a degree in Advertising with a focus on strategic and creative advertising from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
