Verity Burges

Verity Burges currently serves as Lead Risk at CBH Group since June 2023, following a successful tenure at EY where responsibilities included Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Consultant from July 2018 to June 2023. Prior to this, Verity operated as a Freelance Accountant for Contract Accounting, providing tax and accounting support to SME businesses from July 2016 to June 2018. From February 2012 to December 2016, Verity owned and managed Cafe Escondido in the Caribbean, and earlier served as a PADI Scuba Dive Instructor at West End Divers from July 2010 to December 2011, certifying divers at various levels. Verity's career began as a Senior Auditor at BDO from June 2006 to October 2009. Verity holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
