Bruce Phillips

Bruce Phillips has extensive work experience in software engineering, primarily focusing on Java web application development. Bruce started their career as a Web Application Developer at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine in 2003 and worked there until 2008. Bruce then joined the University of Kansas as a Lead Programmer, where they were responsible for building and maintaining web applications. In 2018, they joined Cboe Global Markets as a Software Engineer and later progressed to Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer positions. Throughout their career, Bruce has utilized various technologies and frameworks, including Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Struts 2, and JQuery, to design and develop enterprise-level applications.

Bruce Phillips earned their MA in Information Systems from Webster University from 1999 to 2001. Bruce also obtained an Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer certification, though the exact month of completion is unknown, in the year 2021.
