Kristine Strain, MBA is the Vice President News Director at CBS News Colorado since October 2000. Kristine is responsible for developing and implementing station brand, assisting with budget decisions, talent hiring, and station strategy. Kristine leads the team in digital strategy and growth, handles all sweeps strategy, elections, and special projects, and oversees the launch of new newscasts and newsroom adoption to technical advancements. Prior to their current role, Kristine served as an Executive Producer at WITI Milwaukee and held various producer roles at WCCO | CBS Minnesota and KMBC - TV Kansas City, Missouri. Kristine holds a MBA from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business and dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from The University of Kansas.
