John Lamplot

John Lamplot is an experienced network engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at CBTS since 2019, John previously held the position of Telecommunications Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation for a brief stint in 2018, facilitated through Pyramid Consulting. John has also worked at CBTS from 2011 to 2018 in a senior engineering role. Prior roles include Lead Network Engineer at Great American Insurance and Network Engineer at American Financial Group from 2001 to 2010, along with earlier positions including Network Engineer/SE at DPS, consultant at Advanced Network Communications, and Network Engineer/SE at Ungermann-Bass. John began a career in technology as a Technician at Time Warner Cable from 1980 to 1990, gaining foundational skills in field and headend operations.
