Stephen Young

Stephen Young is an experienced IT management consultant currently self-employed since March 2023. Previously, Stephen has held dual roles at the University of Chicago Medicine as both Database & Data Warehouse Manager and DBA Manager since September 2018. Additionally, Stephen serves as Sr. DBA Manager at CCC Information Services since April 2014. A significant part of Stephen's career includes multiple leadership positions at TransUnion from June 1991 to April 2014, including Director of Technical Infrastructure & Support and Director of Database Administration. Early career experience includes roles such as Sr. Systems Analyst at Sears and Programmer/Analyst at Keebler Company. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Roosevelt University and a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Columbus University Panamá, along with further educational qualifications from DePaul University and SAG.
