Carol Williams

Carol Williams is a seasoned communications professional with a focus on public affairs and corporate communications. Currently serving as Communications Lead and Public Affairs Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since September 2019, Carol also held positions including Corporate Communications Director at Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville and Public Affairs Specialist at Ho-Chunk, Inc. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Public Affairs Officer for the U.S. 4th Fleet and as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Penn State University and has completed education at the Defense Information School.
