Cristina Spear is a Public Health Analyst with extensive experience in policy issues management at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from August 2021 to the present. Cristina held roles such as Public Health Analyst in the Presidential Management Fellows Program and ORISE Fellow for the Division of Violence Prevention. Additionally, Cristina served as a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Forest Service focusing on International Programs from October 2023 to March 2024. Prior experiences include research at the University of Tennessee College of Law as a Graduate Research Assistant, a Law Clerk with the CDC’s Office of the General Counsel, and legal internships with the Knox County Public Defender's Community Law Office and the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. Cristina holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Taylor University.
