Gaston Djomand, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Regional Associate Director for the West Africa Region at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since February 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing the Strategy and Management Branch for several countries including Cameroon, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.
