Johan Steenkamp has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Johan began their career at Motor Company of Botswana in 1997 as a Project/Process Engineer. Johan then joined Ford Motor Company in 2000, where they held various positions, including Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and Manufacturing Launch Manager, until 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Production Manager CKD Plant at Busmark, Caio Bus. From 2009 to 2012, Johan served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Ford Motor Company. Most recently, they have been working at CEC Controls Company Inc. since 2016, where they hold the position of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Project Manager, leading a team of engineers, technicians, and developers in project completion.
Johan Steenkamp obtained their National Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Pretoria Technicon, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management at Hanzehogeschool of Groningen from 1996 to 2007.
