Stephanie Kobal

Stephanie Kobal is a trustee at Cedar Crest College. Stephanie was previously an attorney at Zator Law, where they oversaw a portfolio of cases ranging from real estate and land development projects to the representation of religious and educational institutions in employment and education law matters.

Ms. Kobal has advised clients involved in commercial and residential real estate development, providing recommendations regarding acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, management, and construction. Stephanie has also represented clients in land development matters before zoning and municipal boards. In addition, they have worked with private land owners and municipal agencies to develop zoning amendments to allow for the redevelopment of historic and blighted properties.

Ms. Kobal has represented clients in the drafting of non-compete agreements, employment contracts, severance agreements, and in the drafting of employee handbooks and other employment policies. Stephanie has also assisted clients with risk assessment and implementation of employment policies to minimize risk. Ms. Kobal successfully argued a zoning case before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, en banc. Stephanie also represents municipalities in various land development and planning matters.

Ms. Kobal has been recognized with multiple awards and accolades, including as a 2017 Woman of Influence by Lehigh Valley Business, a Local Legal Leader by Lehigh Valley Magazine, inclusion in 2017 and 2018 Super Lawyers – Rising Star Edition, 2018 Top 40 Under 40 by Lehigh Valley Business, and listed among the Top 20 Under 40 by Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.

Stephanie Kobal has a J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a B.S. in Marketing and Women's Studies from Penn State University. Stephanie also has a diploma from Parkland High School.
