Derica Turner is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Special Education at Cedar Hill Independent School District since June 2020. Previously, Derica held positions as Special Education Coordinator for Resource and Inclusion as well as Special Education Coordinator within Cedar Hill ISD. Prior to these roles, Derica worked as a Title I Academic Specialist at Cedar Hill ISD and served as an Assistant Principal at Duncanville ISD from July 2019 to July 2020. Derica earned a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas between 2008 and 2011.
