Folicsade Freeman

Folicsade Freeman has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2007 with Sutter Health, they worked as a Medical Assistant Lead, responsible for administering medications, recording vital signs, and assisting with procedures. In 2015, they joined Stanford Health Care as a Medical Assistant Trainer, where their responsibilities included scheduling appointments, conducting tests, and maintaining patient records. Folicsade also served as a Fellowship Coordinator, overseeing the residency/clinical fellowship program. In 2018, Folicsade joined Northwestern Mutual as an Administrative Assistant before moving to Cedars-Sinai, where they currently hold the position of Lead Patient Services Rep. Overall, their experience showcases their ability to perform administrative and patient care duties effectively.

Folicsade Freeman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical/Health Management and Clinical Assistant/Specialist from Indiana University Indianapolis in the years 2009-2013. Folicsade later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Kaplan University, completing their studies in the years 2018-2022. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants in January 2017.
