George Carion

George Carion currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Cedars-Sinai, a position held since September 2008. In this role, George leads IT strategy encompassing enterprise technology programs, clinical platforms, IT service delivery, and the institution's information security program. Responsibilities include overseeing all technology systems, data centers, clinical systems interfaces, application development, database systems, enterprise data warehouse environments, and information security systems and methods. Prior to Cedars-Sinai, George held multiple positions at Fox Entertainment Group from August 2000 to September 2008, including Associate CTO and Director of Voice and Data Networks, and served as Director of Network Services and Manager of Network Services at AMGEN from 1996 to 2000, beginning as a Senior Network Engineer at Coopers & Lybrand, LLC from 1995 to 1996. George is an alumnus of the University of Southern California.
