Maedeh Mozneb, Ph.D., is a Project Scientist at Cedars-Sinai, leading research on the effects of microgravity on induced pluripotent stem cell reprogramming and differentiation through the Stem Cells in Space Project. Previously, Maedeh served as the Scientific Founder of BioSensus Inc., developing innovative electrochemical and plasmonic sensing solutions. Maedeh has held significant roles at Florida International University, including founding member and chair of the NSF CELL-MET Student Leadership Council and president of the IEEE-EMBS Student Chapter. Contributing to national collaborative efforts at the National Science Foundation, Maedeh’s research focuses on advanced nano-bio-manufacturing for heart tissue applications. Educationally, Maedeh holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University, a Master's in Environmental Health Engineering from Idaho State University, and a Bachelor's in Material and Mineral Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
