Ruben Ponsaers

Ruben Ponsaers is a Technical Software Engineer at Cegeka, having started in July 2024. Previous experience includes a Master Thesis Project at Kapernikov focused on 3D Object Localization using Mobile Cameras, aimed at improving operators' performance in complex assembly tasks. Ruben Ponsaers has also worked as a Back End Developer at uman, with positions held from July to September 2023 and December 2023 to May 2024. Earlier roles include Office IT and Data Engineer positions at Kapernikov and a Master Thesis Project on deep learning-based object detection at Key Technology, Inc. Ruben Ponsaers completed a Bachelor Thesis Project in Network Security at Cegeka. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science - AI from KU Leuven (2020-2024) and dual Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering Electronics/ICT from KU Leuven and Hasselt University (2016-2020).
