Micah Goldsmith

Micah Goldsmith serves as IP Counsel at Celestial AI since May 2022, focusing on building a premier IP portfolio for innovative silicon photonic technologies in artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Micah was a Senior Attorney at Microsoft Corporation from February 2008 to December 2019, where involvement in complex product development, licensing, and augmented reality technologies was prominent, including collaborations with major companies and the Department of Defense. Earlier experience as Senior Patent Counsel at Pioneer Electronics included patent counseling and the development of licensing strategies for CD and DVD patent portfolios. Micah holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from California Western School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, along with credentials from the US Patent and Trademark Office and the California State Bar.
