Preet Virk

Preet Virk is the Co-Founder and COO of Celestial AI. Preet has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including executive and leadership roles in marketing, product management, strategy, and business development.

Preet’s career began at Viewlogic Systems, Inc. where they spent 9 years in product lifecycle management. Preet then moved to Synopsys for a year before joining Maker Communications as a Product Line Manager.

After 3 years at Maker Communications, Preet joined Conexant Systems as their Director of Marketing. Preet spent 4 years at Conexant, before moving to Freescale Semiconductor as their Director of Networking Segment Marketing.

Preet spent 10 years at Mindspeed Technologies, Inc., where they held various executive positions including Vice President and Business Director, Executive Director of Marketing, and SVP, GM Enterprise/CPE BU.

Most recently, Preet was the SVP, GM Networking BU and SVP, Strategy & Planning at MACOM before co-founding Celestial AI.

Preet has also served on the Dean’s Council of Strategic Advisors at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Robert A. Foisie School of Business for the past 5 years.

Preet Virk has a Harvard Business School executive education in corporate governance, which they completed in 2008. Preet also has a master's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they completed in 1992. Preet also has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, which they completed in 1986. Finally, they have a pre-engineering degree from Mahindra College, which they completed in 1982.
