Jessica Yuan, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Applications Scientist at Cellares since September 2024. Previously, Jessica held the role of Senior Technical Group Lead/Manager at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. from 2019 to 2024, where significant contributions were made to the development and launch of the Phenocycler-Fusion platform. Earlier experience includes roles as Scientist II and Scientist I, where expertise in multiparameter optimization was leveraged for the design of novel assays and protocols. Jessica's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, specializing in tissue-engineered models of the glioblastoma tumor microenvironment, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
