Avak Kahvejian is a board member at Cellarity. Avak has also previously served on the boards of Laronde, Generate Biomedicines, Inc., Cygnal Therapeutics, Ring Therapeutics, Codiak BioSciences, Rubius Therapeutics, and Flagship Pioneering. In addition to their board work, Kahvejian was the founding team's vice president of business development at Liberate Diagnostics where they developed the company's business plan and established partnerships with breast cancer Centers of Excellence to launch myBRCAscan(TM), the first alternative BRCA1/2 sequencing test at the time.

Avak Kahvejian has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McGill University. Avak also holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry with Honors from McGill University, and a DEC in General Sciences from Marianopolis College. Avak is a graduate of Collège Stanislas, where they completed their DES (High School) studies.
