Halil Ibrahim Aksoylar

Halil Ibrahim Aksoylar is a Senior Scientist in Immunology at Cellarity since March 2022, having previously held positions as a Scientist II in Immunology. Prior experience includes an Instructor role at Harvard Medical School from January 2020 to March 2022 and a Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School from February 2018 to March 2022. Halil also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from October 2013 to January 2018, focusing on macrophage activation and tolerance, as well as intestinal inflammation. Early career experience includes a Research Assistant Graduate Student role at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati, where research centered on T cell homeostasis and immune tolerance. Halil holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from Sabanci University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi.
