CPA Irene Koki Muasya is an accomplished finance and risk management professional currently serving as Vice President of Risk and Group Head of Internal Audit at Cellulant since February 2024. With extensive experience in internal audit and compliance, Irene held previous roles as Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk for Africa at Watu Credit and as Group Head of Operations & Compliance at MHL. Prior to these positions, Irene contributed as Manager of Risk and Compliance at Mumias Sugar Company and as Manager of Audit & Risk at the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA). Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi, a CPA from Strathmore University, certifications in information systems audit (CISA) and enterprise risk governance (CERG), and various qualifications in risk management and corporate governance.
