Sylvester Kivindu

Sylvester Kivindu is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Cellulant since June 2023, where responsibilities include management reporting and leading the budgeting process. Previously, Sylvester held the position of Head of Finance: Controllership East Africa, overseeing annual budget preparation and implementing rolling forecasts. Experience at UBA Kenya as Team Lead for Strategy and Performance Management focused on aligning subsidiary operations with group objectives, while tenure at Bank of Africa involved roles such as Senior Finance Officer and Team Leader, responsible for balance sheet monitoring and group consolidation. Early career at Safaricom and Galaxy Communications included sales and customer service roles. Sylvester holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nairobi, alongside a Certified Public Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Business Management in Finance and Banking from Moi University.
