Prior to Cencora, Michael held multiple positions at American Airlines from 1996 to 2021, including Director of Planning & Administration, where responsibilities included managing a $600 million budget and a workforce of over 4,500 employees. Michael's career at American Airlines also featured roles in corporate planning, financial analysis, and revenue management, contributing to significant projects such as a $10 billion aircraft purchase and strategic profitability evaluations. Michael holds an MBA in Finance/Operations from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
