Niels Mekenkamp

Niels Mekenkamp has extensive work experience in the hospitality and technology industry. Niels is currently the Director of Business Solutions for EMEA at Cendyn. Before that, they founded Optimal Hospitality Management Solutions and held the position of Founder. Niels also served as the Director of Analytics Ops & Integration Partnerships at OTA Insight and as the Director of Hospitality Pre-Sales for EMEA at Infor. Prior to that, they worked at EasyRMS in various roles, including Vice President of Ez+PLUS Services and Consulting Services Director. Niels'searlier experience includes working as a Revenue Manager at Hilton International and as a Client Training Specialist at IDeaS. Niels began their career at Hilton International as a Fidelio trainer and installer.

Niels Mekenkamp completed the Standard MEDDIC program at MEDDIC Academy in the year 2021. Niels holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel Administration with a focus on Marketing from Hotelschool The Hague, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Alkwin Kollege between 1984 and 1990, but the specific degree and field of study are not provided. In addition to their academic history, Niels has obtained several certifications including Data Analytics 360 and Data Analytics from Cornell University in October 2020 and August 2020 respectively.
